What is an Appraisal?

Certificates of Authenticity

A Certificate of Authenticity is a document which attributes the object to an artist. With regards to bows, the object is attributed to its craftsman.
All Certificates come with photographs and are delivered by Arnaud Suard.

Estimate Values

An Estimate Value is a document evaluating the bow for insurance purposes. The estimates are based on current market prices for an eventual replacement, inclusive of all taxes.

How Much does an Appraisal Cost?

Certificate of Authenticity

Make an appointment for a presentation of the bows.
Anticipate half a day, or more, for a more thorough study.
The fee is calculated upon a 5% charge of the lower-end value of each bow, excluding tax.

Estimate Value

Make an appointment for a presentation of the bows.
Anticipate half a day, or more for a more thorough study.
The fee is calculated upon a 3% charge of the lower-end value of each bow, excluding tax.
